GREEN BEANS COFFEE COMPANY is headquartered in Larkspur, California. Our
company, in business since 1996, owns and operates more than 70 cafes at
military bases in North America and in seven countries throughout the Middle
East, Southwest Asia and Africa. Many of our cafes are mobile units positioned at forward operating bases in Iraq
and Afghanistan where extreme danger is ever present and amenities are few.
We strive to provide a refuge of peace and tranquility where our troops can
relax . . .
Mission:
In our travels to the forward operating bases throughout the Mid East, we
personally hear from Soldiers that feel isolated from, and forgotten by, people
back home. Our goal is to mobilize a movement, through Cup Of Joe For A Joe, to enable any
American, anywhere in the world, to reach out, let a Soldier know they care, and
say “thanks”.
CUP OF JOE FOR A JOE gives everyone an opportunity to express their support for
our men and women in uniform through the simple act of buying a cup of premium
organic coffee and having it delivered along with their own personalized message
of thanks to a Soldier serving overseas. With your help, we can raise awareness for this wonderful program, but more
importantly, brighten the day for a Soldier serving far from home. Cup of Joe is web-based, takes only a few minutes to complete and costs less
than the spare change in one’s pocket.
Scott and Lynette Lewis built The American Spirit Mustang as a tribute to the
American Soldier and the current ongoing conflicts have created a vast need for
our service members that are injured or disabled. The
American Spirit Mustang is going to be fund raising to support the Fisher House
Organization whom are dedicated to helping disabled Veterans and their families.
If you feel as strongly about supporting our veterans as we do please donate to
the Fisher
House Foundation through the American Spirit Mustang, our young men and
women were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf the least we can
do is support them and their families in their time of need.
Thank You,
Scott and Lynette Lewis
Company Overview:
When SPC Troy Yocum came home from Iraq, he had just one thing on his mind: hike
7000 miles across America while drumming to raise
$5 million for Military families.
After the 2 week marathon in Kentucky Troy will hike north to Indianapolis and
Chicago. Here is where we hope to gain a lot of momentum with the media. After a
few baseball games Troy will head south west to St. Louis.
Troy's path will connect with the American Discovery Trail (ADT) once he passes
the Gateway Arch and will follow... <read more on his site>
Mission:
Is to further spread the word that our American Heroes are fighting just as hard
at home as they do overseas. We hope to provide a peace of mind and lay the
foundation for military families in need to succeed. Troy will literally put one
foot in front of the other, crossing the great states of America to reach people
and help spread the importance of helping our military families. Our goal is to
raise the needed $5 million for these families! Troy will carry with him a custom Louisville Slugger Bat that he hopes to get
signed by Mayors, Governors, and people of importance in-order to get a National
Day for Deployed Soldiers.

At this time there are over 450,000 of our men and women deployed overseas.
These days are a
very lonely
time for our country's soldiers who are far away from home.
Help put a smile on a soldiers face by sending him/her a package or a message of
